Adding a full bathroom to a home isn't a weekend project. It's a multi-phase build that starts underground and works its way up - and that's exactly what we've been doing on this job in Leucadia.

Day one was all excavation. We cleared the area alongside the existing structure, dug down for the plumbing rough-in, and got the green pipe set and ready. Getting the underground work right at this stage is critical. Mistakes here get buried under concrete, so we don't cut corners on it.

From there, we poured the concrete slab. You can see the clean, level pad sitting tight against the existing block wall - plumbing stubs already poking through exactly where they need to be. That slab is the foundation everything else gets built on, and it has to be done right before a single stud goes up.

By day three, the framing was standing. The stud walls are up, the door opening is framed out, and the structure is starting to look like an actual room. Going from bare dirt to a framed bathroom addition in three days is a pace we're proud of - and it's only possible when every trade is coordinated and on time.

This is the kind of work we do as a general contracting team. Managing the excavation, the concrete, the plumbing coordination, and the framing all under one roof means nothing falls through the cracks. There's more to come on this one - stay tuned.
