We had a blank slate for our backyard and needed everything from a retaining wall, turf, pavers, custom built raised planter beds with doors, 2nd story deck, outdoor kitchen, and lighting. Iain did an AMAZING job. What was most impressive (besides his work) is his communication! There was no difference in communication from the time he stepped foot in my home to quote us to the last day he was done. I was also informed of what was happening and when. When we need anything else, Iain will be my first call!
Ian came out to handle our deck project. He set expectations early on and followed through. He did a fantastic job. Very happy with the final product.

Iain is a very skilled and experienced builder. He was very easy to work with and did what he said he’d do when he said he’d do it. We are very happy with the outcome of our project (deck rebuild and remodel) and will definitely use him again and again!
I needed to rebuild a deck that overhangs a pool, stairs, a lower deck, and a separate floating deck. Hiring Iain was the best decision I could've made. Throughout the entire process, he was professional, responsive, and always on time. And as good as all those things are, the workmanship on the decks was even better. There were a lot of odd cuts and corners (especially because the upper deck was on a sloped hill) but he made it all work. Not to mention he accomplished all this with a remarkably quick turnaround time, from start to finish. Also, because of his ability to adapt and solve problems on the fly, it made the entire process stress-free. I truly appreciated that. I've already received many compliments from friends and family and am now actually looking forward to the next big home project. Because hiring Iain again isn't a matter of if, just a matter of when.
Over the last couple of years I have had the pleasure of having Iain Bense work on repairing parts of one deck, replacing the top of an entire other deck, removing and replacing an old front porch, washing down and cleaning stucco wall, removing and replacing two sets of wooden steps up to the tops of decks, and diagnosing and replacing electrical outlets in my house. He has always arrived on time and completed the jobs in a professional manner and provided me with recommendations for additional work I wanted done around my house. Iain is a true professional. We have worked together on several projects over the years and he’s been essential to the success. Iain did several small jobs for me like facial work on the house and patio and built flowerbeds where I grow a large variety of vegetables. I am very impressed with Iain’s work, he is polite and friendly and always on time. His work is excellent. Gordon Chenoweth
I highly recommend Renewabuilt Inc! Ian and his partner did an amazing job reconstructing my balcony. The damage was a lot more than I expected, but Ian kept me informed throughout the entire process. He always showed up on time and cleaned up the entire area before leaving for the day! I was completely impressed with the professionalism and customer service.
Iain built a beautiful second floor deck for our home. He was exact in his estimate costs, staying well within budget. He arrived on time and cleaned his work area each day. Renewabuilt did a great job for us with a large industrial installation of a gate and concrete pad for a 50,000 pound grain silo. Iain had great communication, speed of project, and quality of work. Recommend five stars
